International Competition 1, 2, & 3
REX is continuing to have the International Competition for the second consecutive year after the transformation of the festival from an European to International Festival.This year we curated 3 different programs as part of the International Competition, where we picked the very best animated films that were submitted at this year's festival.
The 16 films that compete for the main award consist of a diverse array of techniques and stories, ranging from traditional hand-drawn animation to cutting-edge computer-generated imagery. From deeply personal narratives that explore the human condition to experimental works that push the boundaries of animation, these films offer a captivating journey through the world of short-form animation.
