In this inspiring documentary, Ukrainian children prove age and size have no bearing on inner strength. The 2022 Russian invasion changed their lives, yet they continue to pursue their dreams. Part live-action, part animation.

Eight Ukrainian children tell their own stories of lives transformed by Russia’s full-scale invasion. Combining documentary footage with animation created by Ukrainian artists, the film gives the children space to speak about their experiences in their own voices.

Alongside loss, displacement and trauma, the film follows their determination to continue learning, creating, dreaming and imagining a future.
